The finance team works together to provide a solid backbone to Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte as an organization. The Department handles Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll, as well as financial analysis, general ledger and banking transactions.
Finance provides support to all levels and programs across Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte. We assist with program budgeting, process all payments (except for Ontario Works), as well as payroll for approximately 170 employees. We also receive payments for all programs from funders, with the bulk of the payments coming for our revolving mortgage programs and rentals.
In addition to providing financial assistance to MBQ programming, the Finance Department provides the following services to the community:
Accounts Payable- Cheques and EFT payments are processed every Tuesday and Thursday for funds owing to all suppliers. Cheques are available for pick-up in Reception at the Administration Office at approximately 4:00pm.
Accounts Receivable- Staff are available to receive payments owed to MBQ every Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at the Administration Office.
