Maternal Child Health provides services for over 20 clients every month.
Functions & Activities
Maternal Child Health, Early Childhood Development, Healthy Babies Healthy Children & Canada Prenatal Nutrition programs work with parents to achieve their goals for both their children and themselves. These programs provide:

Home visits to pregnant women and families with young children 0-6
-
Support for families with young children to access the services they need.
Eligibility: MCH is a voluntary program available to families with children aged 0 – 6 years for Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory residents. Clients must receive a minimum of 1 home visit per month.

Home Visits
Home visits provide support, and information and links with Elders and other community resources. A home visit from a Community Health Nurse or Family Visitor will provide information on:

Prenatal & Postnatal Services

Taking care of yourself during pregnancy, and after your baby is born

What to expect as your baby grows and develops

Getting ready to bring your baby home

How to keep your baby and young children safe

Feeding your baby - GOOD BABY BOX, call a week in advance for orders. Some pricing details here
