Introduction

Housing and Sustainable Development is comprised of several different Units that work hand in hand to provide the community with progressive economic, employment and property development. The departments within the Housing and Sustainable Development portfolio are all operationally based outside of the Mohawk Administration Office and include:

  • Housing
  • Band Property Maintenance
  • Sustainable Development

Housing and Sustainable Development ensures that the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Administration are able to provide the community of Tyendinaga with services to address their needs for affordable shelter, maintenance of rental units and community buildings, management of business registrations and economic policies, and employment and training planning and funding application assistance.
