In 2012, Kawennakatste in cooperation with QMS, presented the multi-media theatre and arts production Sha’tekarhíhen. Loosely based on the animated film, Fern Gully, this production combines Kanyen’keha and theatre arts in a spectacular show suited for the whole family. This film features youth from Kenhteke and has never been shown –until now!
Calling all Sha’tekarhíhen cast!
DVD copies of the film will be available for the original student cast, crew and artists involved in the play!

Youth Entrepreneur Symposium From November 27, 2017 to November 30, 2017

Are you 19 - 30 years of age, and have a business OR intend to start one?
The Young Entrepreneurs Symposium (YES) brings young Aboriginal entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs-to-be together with business leaders and role models to help foster the skills, knowledge and networks they need to be the business leaders of tomorrow.
The three-day event is challenge-based. Teams participate in a series of competitions to build skills and gain valuable business knowledge. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three teams:
1ST Place: $5000 2ND Place: $2500 3RD Place: $1000
YES will be held November 27th - 30th in Vancouver at the Westin Wall Centre and MBQ will be sending a group of delegates! 
All costs are included (hotel, airfare, registration, opening reception, closing gala, and refreshment breaks, lunches and dinners. Spending money is not included.

Christmas Office Closure From December 23, 2017 to January 07, 2018

MBQ Offices will be closed for stat holiday on Friday November 10th (Remembrance Day). The offices will also be closed in December from 4:30 pm on December 22nd until 8:30 am on January 8th, 2018.
